Mountain biking on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm

The Area Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm offers numerous excellent bike trails and bike paths with superb views of the Dolomites and the sheer expanse of Europe’s highest alpine pasture. With 300 days of sunshine per annum, guests in South Tyrol are spoilt for choice by excellent conditions when exploring the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm and South Tyrol’s favourite spots on their mountain bikes. The bike tour network of the Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi/Gröden-Seiser Alm bike region alone comprises 1,000 km of bike routes at two altitudes. Ranging from technically demanding to easy tours with a cumulative elevation gain of around 200 to 300 metres. And, for those seeking a mountain biking challenge, South Tyrol’s bike network offers tours with a cumulative elevation gain of up to 2,500 m.

Numerous day tours lead straight from the Triefer Hof to the alpine pasture, into the lowlands and to the Lake of Caldaro/Kaltern, to Merano/Meran through the flowering orchards into Valle Isarco/Eisacktal and Val Pusteria/Pustertal. Mountain biking in South Tyrol is made even easier for you, due to the fact that you can also conveniently use the train to effortlessly transport your mountain bike for longer stretches as well. That means you’re then completely relaxed when you climb back on your mountain bike to explore our beautiful South Tyrol.
